New Design For Alexa
We went to visit Alexa.com today and now it seems we now have the reason for the outage the other day. Alexa has redesigned their website completely along with changing the url paths (see below).There is no issue, though as they are using a redirect from the old urls.
The old url path http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic _details/mark8t.com
The new url path http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/mark8t.com
It’s always a gamble to do a new redesign, but I must say, I really love it. This is one case where redesign alone makes an improved product (see example below). It’s great to see Alexa now has the stats displayed in a much clearer format, with new stats being added including page views per user, time spent on the site and bounce rate. In short, the new Alexa.com is clear, crisp, concise, modern and much easier to navigate. You can read all the details at the Official Alexa blog
