We have written before about the need about a mobile plan, but it is also important to practice what you preach. In the past we used the Alex King’s mobile theme/plugin, and it was great for our basic needs. As time passed we wanted to add more feature-rich experience for our users, and it was either spend precious time reworking (customizing) Alex’s theme or start from scratch. The latter is what we began to do…but alas, we were saved the work by the wonderful team at BraveNewCode et all. Their cool WPtouch theme is nothing short of amazing. Easy to integrate with our current theme, without a hiccup. We were able to easily add Adsense and Analytics from Google. We were even able to quickly customize the Apple Icons using something as simple as Flavor Studio. In all, it took longer to write this post then set it up. We cannot recommend this plug-in enough. And besides our time is better focused on SEO & SEM than coding.
